Welcome Message

Welcome to the newly revised Martingrove Collegiate Institute website.

Martingrove Collegiate Institute offers a longstanding tradition of academic excellence, co-curricular activity, and community involvement. MCI is a composite school with comprehensive programs in Applied, Academic, Gifted, Advanced Placement and Special Education courses. Challenging program areas are available in traditional academic subject areas, Co-Op Education, Music, Technology and Visual Arts.
Over ninety percent of our graduating students are accepted into post-secondary institutions. As well, many receive entrance and other institutional scholarships and awards.

To complement the school programs, students compete in a variety of competitions including: the Skills Canada, First Robotics and McMaster Engineering Competitions (Science and Technology), Kiwanis Music Festival (Vocal, Strings, Concert and Stage Bands), and University of Waterloo contests (Computer Science and Mathematics).

From the Arts to Athletics, Martingrove is committed to student personal growth through both in-school and external leadership development programs. Opportunities include a variety of student leadership councils and community and student support organizations. Martingrove Co-Curricular Athletic programs offer all students the opportunity to participate in both varsity and intramural sports and are well-recognized for their standard of excellence.

Our attractive, well-maintained school houses a spacious auditorium, learning resource centre, numerous computer lab facilities, triple gymnasium, and unique biotechnology laboratory.
